Emergency services have rescued a man after he reportedly tumbled into the River Avon.
999 crews responded to the incident in Bridge Street, Salisbury, at 4.20pm on Tuesday (4 February).
Firefighters from Salisbury and Amesbury attended the scene alongside police officers and an ambulance crew.
The man was swiftly brought to safety and handed over to medics for treatment.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 4.21pm today (February 4) to Bridge Street, Salisbury, to assist the ambulance service with a rescue from water.
