An ambulance has landed after an e-scooter rider was hurt in a crash in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Dursley Road at around 6pm this evening (Tuesday).
An e-scooter impacted a car, leaving the rider with serious injuries.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed off nearby Drynham Road, with critical care medics from the charity providing treatment at the roadside.
The patient has been taken to hospital by land ambulance. Wiltshire Police said their injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.
The road – which was closed in both directions – has since reopened.
