A woman has been taken to hospital after flipping a car onto its roof in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Frome Road at around 11am on Sunday morning (30 March).
A blue Renault Clio overturned, coming to rest on its roof at the roadside.
Fire crews from Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon were deployed over fears the driver – a woman aged in her 50s – was trapped.
Firefighters used “hydraulic cutting equipment and stabilisation blocks” to free her from the vehicle”, a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Wiltshire Police confirmed no arrests were made.
The force said that the woman was taken to hospital with injuries – which are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
