An air ambulance has been deployed after a serious collision near Devizes.
Emergency services were called to the A360 in Freith, south of Potterne, at around 9pm today (Thursday).
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed at the scene, with critical care medics providing treatment to at least one casualty.
It’s believed three vehicles were involved in the incident and one patient is trapped.
Further details about the crash are unknown at this stage, but the road is expected to remain closed overnight.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be advised we are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A360 near Freith, south of Devizes.
“The road will be closed in both directions for several hours and drivers should seek alternative routes.”
