At least one person has been seriously injured in a crash on the A345 in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the busy route at Netheravon at around 1.30pm today (Wednesday).
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was deployed alongside local ambulance crews, the police and the fire service.
At least one person has sustained serious injuries – and is understood to have been airlifted to Southampton General Hospital for urgent care.
Further details are unclear at this stage.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware that the A345 at Netheravon is blocked following a serious collision.
“Please find alternate routes.”
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “We are currently dealing with an incident on the A345 near Netheravon.
“Please be aware the road is currently closed in both directions until further notice. Please avoid the area.”
