A car has crashed through a garden wall in Swindon – for the second time in 18 months.
Police were called to the road traffic collision in Cheney Manor Road at around 9am on Friday morning (28 March).
A blue Vauxhall Astra left the road, partially demolishing the front garden wall of a home on the junction with Ferndale Road.
It’s the second time in 18 months that a vehicle has ploughed through the wall. Days before the incident, the property was sold.
Swindon Vehicle Recovery were called to recover the Vauxhall.
A spokesperson for the company said that the driver was force to take evasive action to avoid an oncoming vehicle on the wrong side of the road.
They confirmed that nobody sustained any injuries in the crash.
It’s not known if the driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene.
Wiltshire Police was approached for comment, but had not responded at the time of publishing.
