A car has become engulfed in flames – with police closing a busy Swindon route.
Emergency services were called to Oxford Road at around 2pm this afternoon (Monday).
Firefighters are currently battling the flames, while police officers have shut the road in both directions while the blaze is dealt with.
The incident is ongoing near Slade Drive, the side of the road closest to Greenbridge.
The route is likely to remain closed to motorists for the next hour.
