A man has been rushed to hospital after collapsing in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Emergency services raced to reports of a casualty outside Londis in Gainsborough Avenue shortly after 10am this morning (Monday).
A man had collapsed, and is understood to have suffered a cardiac arrest – meaning his heart stopped beating.

Police and paramedics – including a critical care team from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance – provided urgent care in the car park.
The man was stabilised and rushed to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon by land ambulance for further life-saving treatment.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that the man survived his ordeal at the scene, however, his condition is unknown at the time of publishing.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10:10hrs on Monday April 28, to an incident in Royal Wootton Bassett.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, and an operations officer to the scene.
“We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Great Western Hospital.”
