Police have arrested a man after he fly-tipped ‘harmful waste’ in Wiltshire.
Dorset Police officers caught up with the suspect following a council investigation.
In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday), the man was arrested under Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act.
The Act prohibits the unauthorised or harmful deposit, treatment or disposal of waste.
The fly-tip occurred in the West Knoyle of Wiltshire, near the north Dorset border.
The force said that the male was interviewed in custody, and has been fined £1,000.
