A rescue operation was undertaken after a man fell from scaffolding in Marlborough.
Emergency services were called to the incident in High Street at around 1pm on Wednesday (4 March).
The casualty – thought to be a construction worker – fell from scaffolding, landing on the first floor of a building. Having sustained injuries, he was treated before being rescued from height.

Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) medics from South Western Ambulance Service were on scene alongside specially-trained technical rescue firefighters from Stratton.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance is also understood to have been in attendance, responding in one of the charity’s critical care cars while the helicopter remains offline.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) said that their crews were called to “assist the ambulance service”.
Adding that a “crew from Marlborough and the technical rescue team from Stratton attended” and a “casualty was rescued from the first floor of a building”.
The incident was handed over to the ambulance service shortly before 3pm. The condition of the casualty is unknown at this stage.
