A teenager has been charged with robbing a child of their AirPods in Corsham.
The victim – a boy – was travelling on the X31 Faresaver service when he was threatened with violence at around 6.35pm on 17 April.
He handed over a pair of AirPods to the male suspect and the incident was reported to Wiltshire Police.
Officers carried out an investigation, viewing CCTV from the bus involved.
18-year-old Tyreece Corbin was identified and charged with robbery.
The defendant, of Lacock Road, Corsham, was arrested at home and remanded in custody – appearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 25 April.
He was released on conditional bail to appear at Swindon Crown Court on 23 May for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
