Two people have been injured after a ‘car mounted the pavement’ in Salisbury.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in South Western Road, in the city centre, at around midday today (Thursday).
According to a witness, a car struck pedestrians when it mounting the pavement following an altercation outside Caboose.
The driver failed to stop at the scene, leaving two people injured.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently attending a road traffic collision on South Western Road, Salisbury, in which the driver has failed to stop at the scene.
“Two people were injured and are being supported by our ambulance service colleagues at the scene.
“Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
“Salisbury Railway Station remains open and can be accessed from Churchfields Road.
“We will issue a full, detailed update when it is appropriate.”
