A woman has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle on Dorcan Way at around 8am today (Friday).
A woman, aged in her 20s, sustained head wounds after being hit by a white Peugeot 107 near Morrisons.
She was rushed to hospital for treatment, but isn’t thought to have significant injuries.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 60s, stopped at the scene. No arrests were made.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 8am this morning, we responded to a collision between a car, a white Peugeot 107, and a pedestrian in Dorcan Way, Swindon.
“The pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, suffered a head injury and has been taken to hospital for assessment and treatment.
“The driver, a man in his 60s, stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.”
