A Highworth man has been banned from contacting his girlfriend after an incident.
39-year-old Leeroy Stroud was given a Domestic Violence Protection Order on 7 April.
Swindon Magistrates’ Court heard details of an alleged incident of domestic abuse, which is being investigated by the force.
As a result, the defendant, of Cherry Orchard, was banned from communicating with his girlfriend for a period of 28 days.
Stroud is also prohibited from going to Welbeck Close, Swindon – where the alleged victim lives.
Breaching the Domestic Violence Protection Order, which is a civil court order, will result in a criminal conviction.
